We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this beautifully run luxury Maldives resort, which has all the elements that make up a great tropical holiday destination - stunning locale, great relaxation spaces, architecture that integrates well with its environment and a blissful, happy atmosphere. Soneva Gili is also managed by a proven company with exceptional standards in service and cuisine.

Since our time here, the luxury resorts in the Maldives have started to take off around the world, with other interesting resorts coming into the “talent pool.”  Next time, we will be curious to try options with other elements, such as high design or jet-set entertainment. As a rejuvenating break and romantic gesture for my wife, it was a resounding success.
