All in all we had a really good time on Mykonos. For those seeking the island party scene, they won’t find a better island - but for us I think two days was probably enough. 

We had memorable lunches and classic afternoons on the Aegean, with the perfect combination of scenery, weather, food and company - and the island has so much traffic that there is plenty of choice at the other end of the dining spectrum!  

And I’m not ashamed to admit that I really enjoyed my couple of hours as part of the “in crowd” at Paradise Beach. Sheira and I both agreed that it was real buzz to be part of that scene and not feel that we were too old – even though we probably were!

If we come back to Mykonos, I think we’ll certainly give The Kivotos Club House a try, but at this stage I think I prefer the more sedate pace and relaxed outlook of some of the other Greek Islands. 

But you know what?  You never know!
