I think it’s fairly clear from what you’ve read so far that Sheira and I both love Panarea’s intimacy, compactness and beauty.

There’s a casual elegance to the island that’s unlike anything I’ve found anywhere else. Panarea is cool. It’s chic. It’s as if it knows it’s chic, but doesn’t need to work at it.  You can rub shoulders with European royalty and nobody blinks an eye.  You can wear a linen suit or a swim suit and still fit in.  Panarea feels very much like home.
